Source Healthcare is bringing its orthopedic and regenerative medicine practice to Coral Gables ? offering stem cell therapy for pain management, orthopedic conditions, and wound care under Florida's new Stem Cell Therapy Act.
Source Healthcare has spent years treating orthopedic and chronic pain conditions with a multidisciplinary, minimally invasive approach. With the passage of Florida's Stem Cell Therapy Act, we're now able to bring that same regenerative medicine program to our new Coral Gables location at 475 Biltmore Way.
Our Coral Gables clinic is led by interventional specialist Timothy T. Davis, MD, and focuses on stem cell therapy for orthopedic conditions, chronic pain management, and wound care ? administered in strict accordance with Florida law and current federal good manufacturing practices.

Stem cells are the body's foundational cells ? capable of developing into the specialized cell types needed to support healing in bone, cartilage, tendon, and disc tissue. In regenerative orthopedic treatment, physicians introduce stem cells near a site of injury or degeneration, such as a joint, tendon, or intervertebral disc, to support the body's own repair process.
At our Coral Gables clinic, stem cell therapy is offered as part of a broader regenerative medicine program that also includes PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy and other minimally invasive orthopedic treatments, for patients with conditions such as disc degeneration, osteoarthritis, tendon injury, and chronic joint pain.
Note: Most stem cell?based orthopedic therapies, other than certain cord blood?derived treatments, have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. See the Florida-required patient notice below.
Dr. Davis leads Source Healthcare's interventional and regenerative medicine team, with a track record of more than 18,000 interventional procedures and experience as an investigator in numerous FDA clinical trials. He brings that same standard of care to Source Healthcare's new Coral Gables location.
Florida law authorizes stem cell therapy specifically for orthopedic conditions, pain management, and wound care. Our program is built around these categories.
Chronic low back and neck pain related to degenerative or herniated discs.
Knee, hip, shoulder, and other joint conditions affecting mobility and comfort.
Chronic tendon strain, tears, and overuse injuries slow to heal on their own.
Nerve-related pain and compression affecting the arms or legs.
Non-healing wounds that may benefit from regenerative support.
Persistent musculoskeletal pain not adequately controlled by conventional care.
A one-on-one evaluation of your condition, history, and treatment goals with our clinical team.
You'll receive Florida's required written notice and review a detailed informed consent form before any procedure.
Stem cells are administered to the targeted site using image guidance in an outpatient setting.
Our team monitors your response and coordinates any additional therapy as part of your plan.
Florida's Stem Cell Therapy Act (CS/CS/HB 1617, enacted as CS/CS/SB 1768, Ch. 2025-185, Laws of Florida, effective July 1, 2025) authorizes physicians to perform certain non-FDA-approved stem cell therapies for orthopedics, wound care, and pain management, and requires the following disclosure:
"THIS NOTICE MUST BE PROVIDED TO YOU UNDER FLORIDA LAW. This physician performs one or more stem cell therapies that have not yet been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration. You are encouraged to consult with your primary care provider before undergoing any stem cell therapy."
